Geographic position

The spa is located at 140m altitudes, on the northwestern side of Romania, in Crisurilor field, on the western side of the hills from the foot of Padurea Craiului Mountains.

Historical information

The notes of a therapist (concerning the construction of a watering place) constitute the first attestation of the spa (1763). In 1771, the pool had been made of wood and then it was made of stone (together with other cabins for baths). The first establishment was built in 1744. The main spring was improved in 1885 and this fact contribute to the development of the resort.

Climate

The climate is temperate-continental. The annual average temperature is 10.6 C. There are a few rainfalls (650mm a year) The winds are moderate and blow from north and southeast.

Hydroterapy: thermal baths in pools and tanks, plant baths, underwater showers, scotish shower, jacuzzi, limphatic baths.

Kinetotherapy in pools with thermal water; Underwater elongations and on the table;
